![]() ![]() Text must be placed in text boxes, tables, or shapes, and cannnot flow from one page to the next. Page layout documents do not contain a document body. Pages in a word processing document are all in the same Section, unless you manually separate them into different sections by inserting Section Breaks. When you delete enough text (including invisible characters) from the 'blank' page to make that page truly empty, the page will disappear. ![]() The recommendations to click on the 'blank' page and press backspace assume a word processing document. Text in the body will flow from page to page, and Pages will automatically create a new page as it is needed to accommodate new text. The main differences between them are that the word processing document has a Document Body where the main portion of the text is placed. Pages has two types of document, word processing and page layout.
